Abstract. Janatiningrum I, Lestari Y. 2022. Enzyme production, antibacterial and antifungal activities of actinobacteria isolated from Ficus deltoidea rhizosphere. Biodiversitas 23: 1950-1957. Actinobacteria have long been known to the ability produce bioactive compounds secondary metabolites. rhizosphere Jack were expected beneficial metabolite with antibacterial, activity, enzymes. A total 34 different F. soil. They assessed for their antimicrobial activity against four fungi, bacteria, enzymatic activity. The enzyme test showed that almost all isolates had amylase, protease, cellulase activities. results indicated 61.8% are active bacterial tested, i.e., Bacillus subtilis ATTC 3061 (10), Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538 (13), Escherichia coli 8739 (3). 64.8% fungal Fusarium oxysporum Candida albicans (7), Colletotrichum capsici (17). Based on enzymes RTB 1 selected be characterized by morphological 16S rRNA gene identification. characterization molecular identification belong Streptomyces genus. This study actinomycetes could sources.

Antibacterial and Antioxidant Activities of Novel Actinobacteria Strain Isolated from Gulf of Khambhat, Gujarat
Bacterial secondary metabolites possess a wide range of biologically active compounds including antibacterial and antioxidants. In this study, a Gram-positive novel marine Actinobacteria was isolated from sea sediment which showed 84% 16S rRNA gene sequence (KT588655) similarity with Streptomyces variabilis (EU841661) and designated as Streptomyces variabilis RD-5. The genus Streptomyces is con...

A pale-pink strain (CC-FR2-10T) from the rhizosphere of the sacred tree Ficus religiosa L. in Taiwan was investigated by using a polyphasic taxonomic approach. The cells were Gram-positive, rod-shaped and non-spore-forming. Phylogenetic analyses using the 16S rRNA gene sequence of the isolate indicated that the organism belongs to the genus Deinococcus, the highest sequence similarities being f...

Strain T258T was isolated from forest soil at Bongnae Falls, South Korea. The strain exhibited antimicrobial and antifungal activity against the following strains: Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Paenibacillus larvae, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger. Growth occurred on all ISP media tested (2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7), Czapek-Dox agar, potato ...
متن کاملEnzyme Characterization of Endophytic Actinobacteria Isolated from Tomato Plants
Endophytic actinobacteria produce active metabolites, protecting plant tissues against stress. They compounds are widely used in human and veterinary pharmaceutics and agriculture, and of several enzymes with biotechnological potential. The present study characterizes the enzymatic production of endophytic actinobacteria colonizing tomato plants. Twenty-three actinobacteria isolates were tested...
